Data visualisation & dashboards
Designing visual systems, analytical interfaces and decision-support dashboards that make patterns, relationships and change easier to understand.
Dataviz Ltd. works at the intersection of data, design and technology — turning complex information into clear, meaningful and memorable experiences.
Research-led visualisation, thoughtful storytelling and experimental ways of bringing data into the world around us.
We help organisations make sense of information and find the right form for communicating it — from analytical tools and visual systems to physical objects, learning experiences and research prototypes.
Designing visual systems, analytical interfaces and decision-support dashboards that make patterns, relationships and change easier to understand.
Building engaging narratives from complex information for public communication, organisations, cultural institutions and research.
Taking data beyond the screen through tangible objects, installations and participatory experiences that invite people to explore information differently.
Developing methods, workshops and experimental projects across design, technology and emerging materials — connecting academic insight with practical application.
Dataviz Ltd. is the professional practice of Mihály Minkó, a data visualisation researcher, lecturer and R&D specialist based in Budapest, Hungary.
For more than 15 years, Mihály has worked across data science, information design and emerging technologies. His approach combines analytical thinking with design research and hands-on experimentation — exploring not only how data can be seen, but how it can be experienced, questioned and shared.
Alongside independent projects, he works as a researcher and lecturer at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME), building connections between academic research, industry and creative practice.
How can information become more accessible, tangible and relevant to the people it concerns?
A collaborative project translating datasets into handmade, wearable objects — making data tangible and opening up new conversations.
Co-creating data-driven learning experiences with organisations, connecting self-expression, making and data literacy.
Exploring ecological data, participatory research and experimental ways to make environmental relationships perceptible.
Investigating mycelium-based biocomposites and the design possibilities of renewable, biodegradable materials.
